Label cut or fill into alignments

I'm trying to put cut and fill label into my alignments. But I don't know how to do that.

I didn't see any option for that.

So, I'd like to ask some help with that.

I can't think of anything automatic. The only thing that comes to mind is a Spot Elevation Label. But first you would need to create a Finish Surface to compare with your terreno natural.

I don't think you can possibly label the alignment with cut and fill. instead you can label "surface elevation" on alignment using reference text(for surface) like you did for "profile elevation" on alignment. Then you can put the elevations together on alignment using different colors for comparison.

I believe you can dos the with. Reference text. You would need two such labels very similar to labeling cut and fill spot elevations
However, the second part of your post show this in a data band and data band cannot use expressions, I think.

Both Alignment Labels and <<<Data Bands>>> could use more functionality. Maybe you can post in the <<<C3D IdeaStation>>> for more Alignment Label Options.

Yep Kalhab,

It is a good method. I've already used profile elevation on alignment.

I'd like to put just the difference surface elevation to profile elevation on the alignment.

I think that label in the algnment could be very useful.

If the autocad doesn't have that option, maybe post as IdeaStation would be good! 🙂

sorry I do not have a sample handi but there are several internet post explaining the use of expressions for this type of labeling.

the basic idea id to make expressions the will be used for the text size an expression is made for each color and is set to very small value if the test value <=x, or >=X

This is the only way I can think of. I would use reference text and use the "surface elevation" of a volume surface.
