Keep active layout tab centered

Is there a way to keep the active layout tab centered?

If there are more than about 15 tabs (including the model tab), all the tabs sort of readjust themselves when you advance to the next one, and then the active tab is placed all the way to the left (after Model tab). When it does that, you can't simply click on the previous tab to go back a sheet, you have to pull up the pop-up menu of tabs and then scroll scroll scroll to the tab you need.

Is there a mod that will keep the active layout tab somewhat in the middle of the other tabs? Or perhaps just a setting that I haven't found yet?

I doubt very seriously that feasible, unless its available in the some fashion through the API programmatically.

I don't have a solution to the question you asked, but I have a tip for you, if you didn't already know this- Ctrl-Page Up and Ctrl-Page Down will advance you forward and backward through the list of tabs.

Also, if you use Sheet Set Manager, you can pop out the SSM flyout and click directly on the sheet (layout) that you want to go to.

Thanks, I did not know that. I'll try using this method until a mod comes along. Thanks again.

Hi @akitchensZEZPR ,

I do not have an answer for this. I am not sure if it's possible in Civil 3D. I think the workaround provided by @jeff_rivers  should work.
