I am trying to project the existing ground over my force main using a feature, but the profile does not have line generation. It looks more like a continuous line than a dashed.

Hi @chrisLE336

This one is not dashed line. There are lot of continuous lines.

The problem is the lack of elevation data resulting the gaps.

Focus on the gaps of the profile.

Most possible you will find out that your feature line in not "stepping" 100% on your surface....

You can share your file to take a look.

There are too many vertexes for the scale and line type. I'm looking for a way to fix this, like the Pline subcommand line type generation.

Here is the file.

Hi @chrisLE336

You can edit your profile style and choose the line type, weight, etc...

This is one of those situations where Explode can be useful. If you explode the projected profile, it will be come lines. Join those into a polyline, set your linetype and enable Linetype Generation. I don't like having to do this but I can't think of another way.
