Is it possible to set alignment chainage sections, in which you can set different frequencies?

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to get the solution for this problem for a whole day, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I'm looking for a method where I can split my alignment into chainage sections, where I can set different chainage frequencies. I attached a picture where I can explain it:

  • "UE 0+00,00" is the start point of my alignment
  • "IE 0+43,03" is the start point of the first curve
    • between these two points the chainage frequency is 20 meters
  • "IK 1+04,06" is the middle point of the first curve
    • between the last two points the chainage frequency is 15 meters
  • between the last one and "IV 1+65,09" (which is the ending point of the first curve) the frequency is also 15 meters, but it is defined in reverse, so from the endpoint until the middle point
  • after the endpoint comes an other straight with a frequency of 20 meters again

So my question: is there any method to obtain this kind of chainage?

Thank you!

Hi there @szaszbotond,

You need to insert label types and then define the start and end station for each one. In this way, you can define different frequencies for each sector.

See the example below. I think this is what you are looking for.

See the attached file to find out how to sectorize label sets.

Best regards!

Its a little bit involved but it can be done.  Start by setting your station labelling to reflect RAW Station

The first range is simple, just set the increment and the end station.

Second range, set the increment, set the start and end stations, then set a station equation at the beginning with a Station Ahead of 0  (that will reset the increments to restart from there)

Third range is similar to the second except this time the start station will be an even incremental station back from the end of the curve.

The forth is just like the second range.
