Invert value for Pipe at any point along the pipe

Hi

Is it possible to create a pipe label expression, to show the pipe invert at any point in the Civil 3D pipe.

For example:

I have a 10m pipe with slope and want to know what the pipe invert is 3meter from the start pipe.

I want to know if it is possible to create a expression showing the invert value at any point along the pipe, placing the label.

A pipe band style jumps to mind but are you looking to do this in profile or plan?

Expressions can be written but I cant guarantee that type.

If you had  a profile for the pipe that could be labeled anywhere in plan

I'm aware of the band style and the profile view, but I want to show the invert value at any point along the pipe to show in the plan view.
Is there a label for that.

Not really. As I said if you created a layout profile to match the pipe inverts then you could label profile grade elevation in a line label or st offset label with a reference to the pgl

As i thought, im already using Steve's software Slope across Pipes which is time saving and one of the best tools for Civil 3D pipe network.
Maybe we should get the full package of Pipe Network Productivity Tools in the company.
