Insert Survey Network

I’m unable to insert an existing Survey network into a drawing. I have tired the right-click and Insert Into Drawing, and to drag and drop the network into the drawing but neither inserts the network. If I delete the network, and recreate new it inserts correctly. Suggestions on how to insert a Survey Network that has already been created.

Incase this is asked, our process is to create a file that is the topo. This file is never modified except to add survey data. We saveas and use this file for demolition (modify it). When additional topo is picked up the original file is modified along with the copy.

Thanks,

C3D 2014, latest updates.

When you go to Survey tab, under your Survey Database, do you see anything under Import Events that may be missing? Do you see anything after you expand survey network? Any Control Points, Setups, Traverses, etc.? There is apossibility that your networ is empty. See if you can create new survey database and then copy Survey.sdbx file in there using Windows Explorer and copy/paste in your Working folder. That will replace new survey database with your troubled one and will eventually tell you if there is anything in there. It may also be a possible workaround.

It may be good idea to post your survey.sdbx file here.
