Importing Land XML file into AutoCAD Civil 3D 2020

Hello, I am trying to import a Land XML file into an existing drawing. My drawing is in UTM NAD83 Zone 15. I have tried to import the xml file and it comes in fine, but it is in the wrong coordinate system. How do I get it in UTM Nad83 zone 15?

I have attached the XML file. There was a second file provided called CMTF.cal but I wasn't able to attach it here. I can email if someone wants it.

Thanks in advance,

Liesl

Have u tried changing the drawing setting? go to setting tab found under prospector right click on the drawing name and go to  edit drawing setting the change the datum and zone

Your XML appears to be on a random coordinate system centered about the famous 5000,5000,100 coordinate.  You will need to go back to the source and ask for the content to be properly positioned or obtain UTM15 coordinates on two established control points for rotation and transformation.

Hi Liesl,
I'm guessing that CMTF.cal file is a Trimble calibration. Do you have Trimble Business Center?
If you ever need to attach an odd file, just zip it first. This Forum will accept any zipped files.

Great suggestion, Dave - I have attached both files here. I will contact the Trimble folks and see if they can correct the file.
