importing files

how can i import those points in this file becouse i have been trying everything but i dont know what am i missing.

the file is in in PNEZ (comma delimited) mode, .txt, but i still cant import points.

I copy/pasted the data into a new blank text file and then it worked.

Not sure why your original didn't.

Spoke too soon - it briefly recognized the file then failed...

Trying something else.

Not sure why this mattered, but I renamed it with a .asc extension and then it worked.

The forum won't let me attach an asc file but here's the drawing (attached)...

Verify that the point file format is set to txt, if not change it txt and it should import correctly.

OK. That's not a plain Text file. There's some kind of fomatting that throws the import off. I opened the file in Word and saved it at a windows .TXT file. That imported with no problem. I also remove the decimal from the name in case that caused a problem but I had to save it from Word before it would work.
