IFC export with wrong/missing colors in C3D 2025

I just upgraded to Civil 2025 and my IFCs comes out with missing colors on seemingly random objects.
If I export the same files with 2024 or older the IFCs are correct. Does anyone else have this problem.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for posting. Have you installed the latest Civil 3D 2025.1 update? If the issue persists, I suggest contacting Autodesk Support so that they can investigate further.

Hi @lim.wendy

I have now installed the lastest update, and it seem to help somewhat. I see however that if I open the IFCs with Naviswork and set the IFC-file reader to Legacy, the colors still comes out wrong. So, the simple fix is to just use the  newest (modern) file readers.

I notice that the IFC exporter now allows for color overrides on objects. Earlier the exported IFC would inherit the 'layer color'. Can you confirm this?
