I have x,y,z plots in excel along a section. Is there an easy way to convert that x,y data as real world coordinates in plan view.

Hi @JAY_00, assign the correct coordinate system in the drawing configuration, and Civil 3D will show the whole information. (Grid Easting, Grid Northing, Longitude, Latitude, and so on. You can check this information in the panorama window by clicking the "edit" option in the point group.

These are section points? Does your file have Station and then X,Y at each station? In a section view, Y would reveal the z of a plan view. Maybe your Z = station? Post a file.

Depending on what your X,Y,Z values are. The easiest way is to save the Excel file in a CSV format and import them to Civil 3D with the correct input format.
