How to make the drawing loading faster?

There are 2 surfaces in the drawing. I only need the contour line and profile. Is there any way to make the drawing loading speed faster? When I zoom in zoom out, it took forever to load. Thanks.

Do you have the command LEVELOFDETAIL on?

You could also try masking / clipping out sections of the surface you don't need if it is a big surface.  And layer management, freeze layers you don't need.

Oh, but it loads every time when I switch between model and paper space. Is it normal?

Is it possible to reduce the mesh size/ sample point? The grid is 1m. But I don't need these resolution. Check the properties of the surface and I can find any setting to alter it.

What type of surface are you using? If you are working with TIN surfaces you can use the SIMPLIFY SURFACE feature to reduce the number of points. I do this often with drone surfaces that are delivered to us as monstrously large tin surfaces.

My drawings load faster when I drink less coffee.  😁
