How to keep TS/SC Geometry point Label orientation when dragged?

Hi everyone,

I'm working with Alignment Geometry Point Labels (TS, SC, CS, ST) in Civil 3D.

When geometry point labels overlap, I can drag them away from the alignment. However, once dragged, the text orientation changes and the leader appears based on the view rather than maintaining the original alignment orientation.

My objective is to:

• Avoid label overlap
• Retain the original label orientation
• Keep the leader perpendicular/normal to the alignment if possible (without arrow popping-out.

I just figured out a solution.😅

Toolspace | Settings

Alignment

•   Label Styles
  •   Station
    • Geometry Point
      • Perpendicular with Tick and Line (Right-click -->Edit)

Label Style Composer - Perpendicular with Tick and Line

Dragged State [Tab]

[-] Leader

• Arrow Head Style = None
• Arrow Head Size = 0

[-] Dragged State Components

• Display = As Composed

hi,

if geometric point overlap. cntrl+click label and Flip the label. I think this will solve your problem.

Hi, Thank you for your response. 

Sorry, I am familar with this function but I am working in railway alignment. flip label, I can apply for a pair of tracks but multiple is quite problematic.

I also tried this:
Click label selected all but when we Ctrl + select (highlight selection) we can specify which to flip. 

The ctrl+ is quite new to me. I very much appreciate it.
