Hi Danai,
Welcome to the Autodesk Forums.
Your drawing already has a surface, so the next step will be to create an alignment.

Is it possible to get all of the points on the contour in a text file, showing x, y, and z values.

Danai,
You want to extract the polyline vertices? I don't think data extraction can do that. I might be wrong.
You can extract the 441,404 surface points.
More details please on what you'd like to do.

I would like all of the points along the contours extracted and in a .csv file so i can upload the points into other projects as new points.

Here you go. 482,739 points! I wasn't able to extract the vertices in AutoCAD, so I used QGIS. Very convoluted. Maybe someone will chime in with a better way.
Extracting the 441,404 surface points would be far easier.

How would one extract the surface points efficiently?

Danai,
In your drawing, Turn on "C-TOPO" layer, turn off "CONTPRINCP" and "CONTREGULR" layers.
In your Surface Style, turn on "Points". Select your Surface. Extract Points.

Danai,
I forgot to add the last step, DATAEXTRACTION.

Hi,

If your first task is to create a surface, You can easily do it through these contours.

No need to extract points data at all.
