Alignment label size control in paper space

Hello there -

I've been having trouble will getting the labels of alignment subassemblies to behave well in paper space in Civil 3D 2024 (I don't think I ever tried this in 2023 so I don't think the program is the issue). I am using the ANZ country kit styles. I have been into the Assembly properties and checked the codes for the links - the text styles for the labels are set to Civil 3D Standard Text. Nothing happens if I change the Paper Text Height in the Text Style Editor. When in paper space - I can only get the labels to be either too big (achieved by zooming righto out on the geometry) or too small (by zooming right in on the geometry) The text looks fine in model space - though the dashes on the daylight offsets are not right (but these look perfect in paper space). I must have a setting wrong somewhere - but I'm just not able to identify it - any help much appreciated!

Ah, label goodness.

The label style was set to "Default" and there were no options available to edit the style. Changed the style to ANZ_Percent Slopes, set text height to 3.5mm and it now looks like this in paper space:

Hope this is helpful.

Joy! Most helpful thankyou! I don't suppose you have another nice tip for controlling the size of those yellow super elevation flags.....?

Im guessing that you are more concerned with the paperspace view than actually using them in model space?

If it was me, Id just explode the whole assembly, then you can scale the flags as you like. Assemblies don't work the best natively in paperspace. I'd prefer the control of the polylines etc.

If you still need functioning assemblies, just make a copy and explode those.

Ah perfect - I always feel a little sad when I can not use the live objects for two purposes (printing sections AND making them work as grading objects). So thenswer might be to just live with the flags as they are in the print....many thanks again.

You're welcome.

It is great when things can perform double duty but as is often the case, there are one or two little changes you want to make and it doesn't work so well.

I think you could just turn the flags off in the style if they are not required.
