C3D COMMAND VALUES-2.png

the attached screen shot was taken from the TOOLSPACE/SETTINGS/ALIGNMENT/COMMANDS...

Then "CreateOffsetAlignment" right clicking to "edit command settings..." then under 'Default Name Format'

I click on the 3 dots ... refer to the RED rectangle above.

as you can see there isn't a direct way to revise the command from 'P3' to 'P0'

so,

1: can this value be edited? if YES where may I find this.

2: can <[Side]> default be edited from "Right" or "Left" to just "RT" or "LT"? if YES where can I find this

goal is to have better control over the objects name when it is created.

thanks again.

While creating the Offset Alignment(s), go to the Create Offset Profiles tab. This button takes you into the name template editor.

Thanks for your reply; however, I already know where to change these default commands.

my question still remains.

CAN THE 'Px' VALUE BE CHANGED FROM 'P3' 'TO P0'? IF SO, WHERE CAN I FIND IT?" notice the blue highlighted text under profiles. The profile name for this offset alignment is called 'ROAD-D-EOP-Left 20.000-PROFILE'!

lets' say someone "me" would like to change the default value from '20.000' to say only '20'.

it seems like it's hard coded.

Also say someone "me" would like to change the default value for <SIDE> 'Left' to just say 'L' or Lt'.

can someone here see if they can edit these values and report back, maybe it's my machine.

please share a screenshot if you can.

thanks again
