How to creat "link to mark point" subassembly by Autodesk Subassembly Composer??

 Hi guys!
I'm trying to create a Median subassembly by Autodesk Subassembly Composer (ASC) like "MedianRaisedConstantSlope" in Tool palettes.
I used "get mark point" - tool box in ASC to creat a link to mark point existing. but when i add it to my project, it's wrong and appear error box " Markpoint does not exist. "
How can i make it?

Hello,

Try to put the marked point at the end of your flow chart.  I think because you have it as the very first element in your flow chart, C3D doesn't know what to do.

Also, check out the attached example .pkt for Marked Point provided with SAC help.  This example shows the marked point at the end as well.  I hope this helps.

Thanks for your help but i don't think you understand me! In your attach file, i see you use "Set mark point" - i think it mean something else with connect to this point and create a line.
In my case, the mark point is already existing and i want another connect to it as median.

Hi @taophatxit,

Use this Get Marked Point in the Advanced Geometry. See attached images and sample PKT.

Hi @taophatxit,

Also, please try to use ALL CAPS, instead of using m1 try M1 or MP1 or MP2 for both Marked Point Name and Get Marked Point.

Before and after all capsBefore and after all caps

All Caps for the Marked Point NameAll Caps for the Marked Point Name

Thank for your help! now i know it cant use with different assembly. But how the default assembly - "link to mark point" in Generic and "MedianRaisedConstantSlope" in Median can work pefectly in my case?
i try your assembly but it still only work if i put it in 1 side of median.
Both side median i create by offset .

Hi @taophatxit,

Without seeing the drawing it is harder to debug your issues. In my end when I try the sample pkt I send to you and the median pkt you created both works fine without an issue. I believe it is something with the order you create them. Key thing to remember that you need to be consistent with mark point name and use all caps. Are you able to share dwg if you still can't make it to work? I can't find what's wrong as it is working on my end when I test it.

Here's my comments to the image above.

Hi @taophatxit,

Please use All Capital letter. I keep on telling you to update the name and you are not doing it that is why it is not working. (See images below to show you what I mean by all capital letter)

See animated gif. (I deleted all and just isolate the issue for demo purpose)

Use Capital LetterUse Capital LetterWorkflow 1Workflow 1Workflow 2Workflow 2Workflow 3Workflow 3
