how to copy surface lables between files

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have the same surface in separate files. One of the have labeled well. How to copy the labels into the other file and make the labels belongs to the surface in the other file?

If I select all labels and use the copybase function, the surface1 will be copied into the other file as well, not just pure labels. I am seeking the right way to do this. thx

One of the easiest solution to that  is to ex reference file with all your labels to new file and may be shourcut your surface in it but turn it of (if you still need that surface in the new file).

there is a way to transfer all our labels from drawing to drawing but it will require some time and steps.

Search the forum if need it.

Thanks

If you were to consider third party software, DotSoft's C3DTools will let you export the position information to a data file that can be imported into other files at any time.
