how to change the the the sign of offset when change the direction in section views!?

I changed the direction in section views now I want to change the sign of offset for example for left side shows minus and right only value!?

Just to understand, when you say you changed the direction of your section views, what do you mean by that?

Technically, those offsets are related to your alignment, and the section views themselves cannot change the direction, but you can change the direction of your alignment; just be mindful that it can affect your design and all the elements connected to your alignment. If you still want to proceed, you change the direction of your alignment by clicking and going to your alignment tab, on the modify panel, click on reverse direction, and double-check your design before continuing work.

The expression would be for labels, not the bandset itself, and even though the data would be wrong since the sample line is correlated to the alignment, right?

How did you change the direction of your section views? Can you show here how did you do it? I am asking because as I said, your section view is a reflection of your sample line, and your sample line is correlated to your alignment, so what did you do to reverse the direction of your section view?

Simply, You can go to section style in the tab graph you can change the direction

I see; yes, you are right; that should affect your band set as well. Are you applying it to multiple sections? Have you tried creating a new style out of the existing one and doing the same exercise?

I just asked if you tried to create a new style out of the existing one because it seems to be a bug on the process of using this style, it should change by itself when you run that reverse direction, if it is not changing, then try it with another style or close and open the file again.

Can you share your file here so I can have a look at it, if you don't mind, please?

Edit the band style to drop the sign for the distance values.

Then add the property for the Distance from Centerline Side.  This property will add R or L to the values based on the file settings for abreviations ... we can edit those setting to change R to - and L to +.

That is a good solution, but that would only be a quick fix for one specific component, which is the offset itself, right? if you turn on the grid label, for example, it would be wrong, wouldn't it?

Use the first part of the process I posted earlier. The part where it uses the Drop Sign selection for the offset values. That will remove the minus signs from the band offset distance values.
