How to change the location of grip edits on the parts in profile view?

So I am having a plan production problem. I am trying to display a pedestal top storm structure in a profile view. The grip edit for the rim is showing up in the middle of the ped top's top and is basically a irrelevant location. I would prefer it be at the the very top point of the ped top's top or at the bottom or at the bottom of the opening of the ped top (see "Picture 1" for clarification). This may be something that has to be fixed in Part Builder. I have attached a drawing containing the part along with the Part Builder files

If I understand you right. The Rim will default to the surface you reference in your pipe network. If you want the Rim to stuck up out of the ground you need to change the setting of that structure by setting the rim to false and enter the elevation.  If this elevation difference is constant, create a dummy surface and reference your dummy surface to the pipe network.

yes i do want it to stick out of the ground. Ideally the opening would be flush with the surface of my choosing and the pedestal top would extend up above the surface, but the grip edit (rim elevation) is in the middle of the top for some reason and I need it to be at the top of the opening so that I can accurately display it in profile view.

Also note that the grip edit is always 2.5' below the top of the ped top which scales to 6" in my profile view. BUT the rest of the ped top (hence my opening) is getting scaled when the height of the ped top changes making it where my opening is not always constant distance from my grip edit(rim elevation).
