How to assemble a counterfort wall in civil3D subassembly composer.

Dear all,

I am trying to make a counterfort subassembly with all I have created but for the counterfort part, I can't do that because there are certain thicknesses of counterfort and the spacing of counterfort on the wall. How can I assemble it? Is it possible to make it on subassembly composer? I just need ideas for how to thicken the counterfort and corridor it at certain intervals only.Capture.PNG

Hi @kamalgaramja556 ,
Yes, it is possible with SAC.
You can use Offset target as conditional (OffsetTarget.IsValid)
when this exist, build the wall with counterfort, else build only wall

On Civil you need define Polylines paralell to the alignment were you need them and with the necesary thickness (I suggest you create a Layer for them), and define the Offset target from layers.

Hi @kamalgaramja556

In SAC, you must first create the geometry of the retaining wall without counterfort, then add the conditional with the expression OffsetTargetName.IsValid, which will represent the position and width of the counterforts.

When this is true, create the counterfort.

Otherwise create the shape of the simple wall.

In civil, create polylines parallel to the alignment (regardless of the distance to the alignment), make sure they are on the same layer.

Create the corridor, make sure its frequencies are configured as shown in the image.

Corridor without targets:

Assigns polylines as offset targets.

and Voila, Corridor with targets (counterforts)
