How do I modify existing parts in the content catalog editor?

I am in the process of creating a vast amount of catalog parts for out pressure part library...

It would make my life 100 times easier if I could find the autocad .dwg files and content files for the parts which are already in the parts lists...

Does anybody know where they could/should be located?

Regards

You didn't mention what version you're asking about?

For 2014 Civil 3D their default location is here:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\C3D 2014\enu\Pressure Pipes Catalog\

If you're on 2015 or 2016 the path should be similar.

C3D 2018.1
C3D 2016 SP4

Win 7 Professional 64 Bit

Thanks Jay

I am on 2015

Do the content files exist for these parts? If so where are they?

Yes, they are the .sqlite files found under Imperial & Metric folders and can be opened with the Content Catalog Editor.

Content Catalog Editor is under the installation folder:

Start Menu > All Programs > Autodesk > C3d 2015 > Content Catalog Editor

C3D 2018.1
C3D 2016 SP4

Win 7 Professional 64 Bit
