Help With Map on Civil 3D 2020

I have been with working with Map on Civil 3D 2020 on a Windows 7 Pro device to edit data on a PostgreSQL service. Until recently, I have been able to successfully connect to our database, add the data to Civil 3D, and edit data. In the last few days, when I use the Map service, I run into an issue in which I cannot add data from my PostgreSQL database to Civil 3D. I am able to connect to the database without issue, and the service successfully logs in and shows all of my schemas. However, after I check-mark a schema and click "Add to Map," nothing happens. I receive no warnings, and the service does not crash, it just un-check-marks my selected schema and nothing happens. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After working with Civil for a few weeks, the issue has re-arisen. I would like some more help with this situation if possible.

I don't know if this is it, but you have to be in model space and you have to have MAPWSPACE turned on, or the data won't show up. At least graphically it won't.

I have found a solution! As mentioned in other comments, turn on MAPWSPACE. Sometimes the issue still arises, but just turn MAPWSPACE off, then back on, and it will work.
