Grading Tool Settings

Is there a setting for the tessellation (triangles) interval on a surface made from grading tools to be changed?

I am grading from a featureline and the resultant surface is making triangles at 10' along the featureline.

I am trying to reduce the data generated to see if the grading will be more stable.

I know, I usually use corridors but this was started by someone else.🙄
