How do you grade a building pad with crawl space (2-4 ft height) in civil 3d when grading subdivisions.
Are you using grading groups or just feature lines as breaklines? I need to find the actual cut-fill volume after grading the crawl spaces.
When I use the grading group, the crawl space under the building pad is considered as Fill.
I've been searching for some resources explaining this type of grading but haven't found anything on the internet.
If you know of any video or website, please share.
Thank you all!

@Reza-WE Now I know what a crawl space is, are you using the finished floor levels to model the building pads? If this is the case I would adjust the levels to take account of the crawl space and would probably use featurelines (rather than grading objects) and add to a suitable surface to compute the cut/fill.

Thank you @neilyj666 @Joe-Bouza @LucasHicks. Thanks all for your comments. I think that's the way to go (using feature lines instead of grading objects)
