google earth images

Can anyone tell me if Google earth has completely cut auto desk out of their site? I have been importing images and surfaces into civil 3d 2012 for years until today.

Now when I attempt to insert an image it says "An error occurred while trying to establish communication with google earth.

I imagine they have since they use Bing imagery now.

Thanks TR, just like anything else, once you get something to work they pull the rug out from you. I am still using 2012 just for that application since 2014 kicked it out. Am in a very small company that cant afford to upgrade every year.

I'm having the same problem. I usually work with the newer versions of civil 3d, but I kept the 2012 version install just because I  sometimes prefer google earth over bing. I thought It was just me. I even uninstalled and installed the software again.
