Geotechnical Modeler 2026 problems

I installed Geotechnical Modeler on Civil3d 2026 and tested it with files that worked perfectly on Civil3D 2025 and Geotechnical Modeler 2025.

2026 version gives me an error when I want to create subsurface profile.

"System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

   at Aecc.Gtm.CADServices.ProfileService.CreateStickLogProfile(Point3d insertPoint, Alignment alignment, String profileViewName, Double stationStart, Double stationEnd, String topSurfaceName, StickLogConfiguration config, GeologyHatchStyleConfiguration hatchStyleConfig)

   at Aecc.Gtm.AutoCADPlugin.SubsurfaceProfiles.SubsurfaceProfilesPresenter.CreateSubsurfaceProfile2D()"

Also it modifies selected profile view so that elevation range is modified to elevations around 0 m, although my EG elevation are around 44-49 m.

Has anyone encountered also this issue?

I'm facing this issue too. Apparently when I build my stratum surfaces using the Dynamic Differential this error appears.

I'm also finding that the tool isn't working as well as it did previously also with the new lens layering where it break up the surfaces, trying to find some information on how the tool has changed, I've been able to create stratum surfaces from the second page but all the layers seem to be hidden by default and the dialogue box doesn't allow you to control them the same as the last iterations of the software
