Geolocation Hotfix not working for Civil3d 2018

I have read the forums and they all point me to the page with the hotfix. I downloaded the hotfix several times, tried to install it, but even after it installs geolocation still gives me the same error. 

"You do not have permission to access Online Map Data, Go to account setting and check your entitlement to use online maps". 

I used the hotfix when I was using Civil 3D 2017 and it worked fine. I just upgraded to 2018 a week or so ago. Does the fix not work for 2018. Please help.

Worked for me.  Make sure you have the latest SP 2 installed.

Works for all installed versions.

Can you follow up on where to download these service packs? I have a user in this exact situation, but the hotfix is not working. Nor are any updates or any of these packs I installed on his machine.

Where is this service pack 2? my desktop app does not indicate my 2018 is out of date and show 2018.3.1 fix. Im guessing  2018.3 has it?
