Formatting text in a table via data link

I have a table in my drawing that's generated via a data link to an Excel file.

What sets the height of the text in the cells?  When I use the Annotate > Table > Insert Table from Data Link, the table style control and all the column & row controls are greyed out.

I want to change the height of the text in the top row of the table.  It is only 0.10, which is too small.  The text in all the remaining rows is 0.12, which is correct.

I can edit the table style, but I don't see any changes taking effect.  All cells are style 'Data', with text height set to 0.12.  So the top row is not adhering to the text size in the table style.  What does control it?

If I change the font size of the top row in Excel and re-save, C3D notifies me that the data link needs to be updated.  I update, and regenall, but the table does not change.

It should be as simple as selecting the entire problem row with an acad crossing selection & changing the table style to match the correct (.12) rows in Properties Pallet.

I do this all the time but there are different methods of data linking.

Cool, that worked.  I didn't think to look in the properties for the text height.  Why the table style dialog box doesn't seem to control is a mystery to me.

Format the table first then add the data link. Paste special is what you are doing I presume. This override the table settings with who knows as you see
