Flyout tool palettes

Docked tool palettes, when set to stay open, fly out to the extreme limits of my monitor so that I cannot reach the far edge to bring them back to a workable size. Any ideas how to change this?

Type CUI and locate the Toolpalette width setting and change it to a small enough value to bring it onto the screen.
