Feature line temporary graphics not displaying

When modifying feature lines in civil 3d 2021, I am used to seeing temporary graphics when inserting a new PI (usually yellow lines showing where my new PI will be placed and how the feature line will look once inserted. For some reason, I no longer am able to view these graphics. I can still insert a PI, however I do not have a visual to assist me when choosing the location.

Here is a photo of the temporary graphic I would like to see again. Could this be a system variable that changed? I have audited the file and there are no errors. Any insights would be much appreciated.

Be sure your current Visual Style is 2D Wireframe.

you might also restart C3D/reboot the machine. In intensive files it seems that there is a memory drag that builds up over time. I'd also RECOVER the dwg if graphics issues persist.

Thanks for your feedback guys,

@tcorey

I have ensured that I am on 2d wire frame. Problem remains.

@Anonymous

I have completely restarted my machine, and even tried opening this file on a different computer. I have tried "recovering" the file, but it opens with no error. Still not showing the temporary graphics.

I appreciate the suggestions, I have tried everything I could think of.

Maybe it is the DRAGMODE variable?  If not already try setting it to auto.

Thanks for the suggestion, but to no avail. I feel like there is a setting very similar to this that I am just unaware of.

Toggle your Hardware Acceleration, Off to On, or On to Off.

Make sure layer zero is not off or frozen.
