FBK to dwg. Linework ok, but individual points not on correct layers.

Hi,
Thanks to all the previous assistance over the years. I now process surveys from FBK files into dwg, and it's mostly working.
Mostly.

However, although the points that form the lines are coming through onto the correct layers with the correct styles, stand-alone points - with different labels - don't.

The descriptions for the linework are all codes like TT  D, MO  D, and I have set the description key sets so that anything starting (for example) TT has the default point style (ie no point), standard label style (just elevation) and lands on the correct layer.
The settings work for all the points that form line.
The findspots, though, have descriptions like RA43  D43, and they need to display differently.

I've tried to set it up so that anything starting RA has a point and is labelled with the description as well as the elevation, and lands on the layer Smallfind, but although the label setting is working, the point style still comes through into the drawing on default (no point) and both point and labels land on layer 0.

I've edited and named the point style and the point label style, and ticked the box to use them (see attached screenshots) yet the point style still comes through on default and not on the ticked box, and they land on 0 not the correct layer.

Can anyone point me to what I'm doing wrong, please?
I've attached screenshots of the points key set, the figure prefix data manager, and some of the points with their descriptions.

Go to your point style and label style, and make sure that they are both set to Layer 0, then when the description key sees the code RA it will place it on the layer Smallfield. Points act like blocks, so its generally best to define them on Layer 0

They already are set to 0 in the point style settings box.

The images that supposedly show the actual settings are missing. And I have no idea what most of the text actually means.

First I would check to make sure you have Disable Description Keys set to "False".  In the Point Label Style I set the layer to  0.  I use the point style to drive the Label style layer, set my marker layer in the point style and I also set the marker layer in the description keys. Its an extra step to have them set in both, but it helps when others need to look at styles to set what layers are being used. The attached has the images.

Are you saying I need a separate point style key for every single code that will be turned into a point, if I want them to land on a layer other than 0?
Disable description keys already is set to false.

I just tried that (setting up separate point descriptions with the layers set.) They still import on 0

Can you post a file? Are they points taking on the correct style?

Well, after setting the layer in the point style dialogue box, telling it to use Autocad points, and setting the label layer in the label style dialogue box, the labels are now the right colour, but they're still on layer 0, and the point still refuses to show, although the point format for the template is set to show points.

I don't know how much will come with it in terms of data etc.
I saved with it zoomed in on one of the RA points. The labels are the correct labels, they're the colour that matches the correct layer, but they show as being on layer 0.
Style and label style show as default in the properties window, although they're supposed to be SF
No point is visible.

OK Here you go!

I have set all layers in the styles to 0.

Very important here I have added an * to your description key RA, as they don't work like Figures (prefix) when you have additional information after your initial code you have to do a * .
