Fatal Error

I keep getting Fatal Error, this problem when trying to open a file in Civil 2020.4 update. The message is "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0020 Exception at 41A7908Fh"

IF (big if) the file is on a network and has references you may have some luck with this.

Copy the file to  your desktop. Disconnect from any network you are connected to (WAN and/or LAN) and use recover to open the file.

If this works try running recover on any xreference files in the file you copied to the desktop.

If this error is on one particular file, RECOVER the file instead of opening.

If this occurs on launch and the 2020.4 update was installed after last successful launch, make sure you have the latest video drivers installed.

Can you give us a bit more info? What OS are you running? When was the update installed? One file or many, etc.

Thank you, it seems to work fine 🙂 It seems like that the civil model is okay, and it is some xref's that make the problem.
