FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e0434352h Exception at 619a9d98h,7ea79d98h

I got this error message when opening a drawing from the sheet set manager. The drawing looked like it was going to open normally but then the "FATAL ERROR" occurs. This issue has effected different drawings associated to this project at different times but never two drawings at the same time. This particular drawing was working fine last week.  I don't think it has anything to do with any data shortcuts or xrefs in the drawing (i could be wrong) because other drawings with the same xrefs and data shortcuts work fine. When doing a "recoverall" on the drawing i get another error message reading, "Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. if you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. eWasErased." The error message also has a "details" button which, when pushed, reveals a lot of other information. If you press "continue" the error message disappears but AutoCAD is frozen and does not respond to commands. This issues has been happening on and off for around a month, when doing my initial research the issue looked like it was due to an issue with the microsoft .NET framework or Visual C++. The tech dept reinstalled both programs and it seemed to fix the issue up to this point. I will include pictures of the error messages with this post. Thanks for the help. 1.PNG2.PNG3.PNG4.PNG5.PNG6.PNG7.PNG8.PNG1.PNG2.PNG3.PNG4.PNG11.PNG12.PNG13.PNG14.PNG15.PNG16.PNG17.PNGtoday.PNG

It sounds like you are able to open the file outside of SSM. If so I'd back up the file, and then start deleting objects from the drawing, try to open in SSM, repeat until the drawing doesn't crash. Then you know what the eWasErased might be related to. Then more investigation could happen to find the cause.

Hi @Anonymous

Can you try disabling the Just in Time seeing as that is in the error message? Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Sorry I took so long to reply, I haven't worked on this project in some time. The problem occurs when I try to open the drawing through the SSM and by using the "open" command. I also tried to disable the Just In Time debugging but that didn't fix the problem either. I tried splitting the drawing into two separate drawings (thinking that having 7 layouts in the drawing could have something to do to it) but that didn't fix the issue either. Upon doing some more troubleshooting, the issue seems to be with the "wastewater network" source drawing i have data shortcutted in the wastewater p&p sheet (the sheet with the issues). The problem only effects the wastewater p&p drawing, all the other utility p&p drawings have the wastewater network referenced into them and open fine. I was able to get the wastewater p&p drawing to open by breaking the link to the source drawing, however, when i repair the link while the wastewater p&p drawing is open the pipe network updates fine and does not force close the drawing.

As I was typing this reply the problem showed up in my road p&p sheet. When I try to open the drawing, whether it be through the SSM or by the "open" command, the drawing force closes and when I try to recover the drawing i get the same "just in time" debugging error message shown above. However, I was able to open the drawing after breaking the link to the "proposed surface" source drawing i have data shortcutted into the drawing and when I repaired the link, the surface updated fine and did not force close the drawing.

The road p&p sheet is the only sheet that has an issue with the "proposed surface" data shortcut and the wastewater p&p sheet is the only sheet that has an issue with the "wastewater network" data shortcut. I am able to open both of these drawings by themselves with no issues and i audited and purged all source drawing and did not encounter any errors.
