Extracting Text from Drawings

I need to extract the Drawing Number, Rev # and Title from the Layout tab of several drawings into a spread sheet.

Any quick way I can do this.

Example is attached.

Thanks.

If they were attributes I'd say data extraction would work nicely.

You could play with Lee Mac's LISP program BFIND:

http://www.lee-mac.com/bfind.html

If you check the box for "Search Only" it will not make replacements but create a report of what text is found.

are these attributes in a title block? DATAEXTRACTION will do this across selected folders and files.

JTB world has a great app too. not a sales rep, just like their products
