Extract multiple corridor solids

Hi,

Is there a way to extract multiple corridor solids within Civils3D?

Seems like something simple but I cant figure it out, and there seems to be no posts about this already.

Regards

Jackson

Yes. Use the _AeccExportCorridorToSolids command.

As you see on the dialog, each Subassembly Shape, per region, will be a single solid. If you have multiple shapes, you will get multiple solids.

Hi Tim,

Sorry I don't think i was clear with my question.

I have multiple corridors within my file and i want to extract the solids for all of them in one command (or so.)

See attached screen grab showing i have 6 corridors in my file currently but this will increase.

Jackson

I get it now. I don't know a way of doing that, sorry. Ask on the Civil 3D Customization forum. Maybe one of the programmer-types has done this in .NET.

Did you ever find the solution for this?

Yes/No,

Instead of using seperate corrdiors for each solid I required, I grouped them based on similarities.

So each corridor now has around 25 baselines in, rather than 1 corridor 1 baseline. Make sense?

Jackson

I am facing the same problem ... I have created a dynamo script which takes corridor names and extract the solid for the same...but my script is running perfectly but not showing any solid creation?

The Corridor.GetSolids node returns existing corridor solids, and don't create them.
As fas as I know there is no node for this, but it is available in the API since the 2023.2 update.
You can do it in .Net or in Dynamo. For Dynamo please visit the related Dynamo Forum post:
