Export RCP with changed georeferencing from Civil 3D

Hi,

Is it possible to export an attached point cloud (RCP) from Civil 3D back to ReCAP? I have a point cloud and georeferencing points, but I can't find a solution to "move" the point cloud in ReCAP. In Civil 3D, it's straightforward—using the 3D move tool to adjust the point cloud from the reference point to a CAD point created from coordinates.

However, I can't figure out how to export this adjusted point cloud—moved to the correct coordinates—back to ReCAP for further processing, such as classification.

Hi Michal,
Use "Update Origin" in ReCap to shift your point cloud.
If you want to shift the point cloud before ReCap, use either CloudCompare or LASTools.
As far as I know there is no way to backpaddle a point cloud from Civil 3D back to ReCap.
