Export corridor solids - some links are missing?

Hi,

please is anybody able to explain the mystery, why only some links are offered in the corridor export solids dialog or also in Corridor.ExportSolids() API function?

We didnt find the key, how this command works. There should be "bodies" for each selected coded link, but most of them are missing...

Thanks

Martin

Hey @martin.folber  there could be many reason

1- Links must form closed shapes between two regions.
2-Check the subassembly composer if your using the specific assembly to built the corridor ( check geometry defination)
3-Visualize in Section Editor:- to know if the links forming a complete, enclosed shape? If not, Civil 3D can’t generate the solid.
type this in command bar CorridorSolidsFeatureLinesReport  to check the detailed report.

Hope this link helps you as well

Hi @sanith_parsi,

I was writing about links => bodies, which are missing in dialog for Export Corridor Solids function. Shapes are not problems...

Ok Martin,
Here are the things i can suggest

1-Try changing the frequency in the corridor settings and regenerate the corridor.
2-Use the Command ' Extract corridor Links'
3-Check the Link codes assigned for the corridor ( this might also be the issue )

All the best...

Hi sanith,

thanks for your suggestion, but I think this is some internal bug or secret logic, how only some links are recognized for extraction...
