Existing Road Average Width

Hi,

How can i calculate existing  road(around 3 km) average width on Civil3d. I've two polylines from surveying.

Close the ends of the two polylines, take the area of the closed polyline then divide by the length.

Thanks for reply. But at the end how can i calculate area width(black lines average)?
