Editing and old LDD

I need to make a minor change to an old LDD CADD file from 2009. I opened it in Civil3D 2025, updated the datum and units in all the files but much of the linework does not show when xrefing into my output sheets.

I'm attaching the original files, new files and pdf of the old output with desired changed made in the pdf and shown as clouded red text and linework.

Accepted solution

I would probably open C3D as Autocad to do those changes, and not fool will much else. Very minor, any xrefs would need to be opened and saved as well.

Are you saying to open it in Map 3D or Civil3D but use the "Drafting & Annotation" workspace?

@rl_jackson Unfortunately my solution for Civil 3D 2023 & 2024 does not seem to work for Civil 3D 2025.

Jeff,

That's good to know, you would not think that would be the case considering it worked for 2024, I personally so little difference between it and 2025, I'm sure there's some backend stuff that I don't see. I guess an easy solution would be installing plain Autocad and possible the OE to get pass that issue.
