Edit Alignment in Profile View

Hey,

I am wondering if it is possible to edit the horizontal alignment by adjusting the profile. I understand that the profile is dynamic with regards to the alignment. I want to minimize vertical curves/changes in elevation. Is this at all possible?

How would the software know how to edit the alignment from the profile? The alignment shows the horizontal path and the profile is the elevation along that path.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be done or that it can't be done, I just don't understand what edits you are trying to make from within the profile view.

Great question! But i'm afraid to say that currently there is no update or alert to Alignment from Profile edits. For example, any Profile edit won't change alignment.

So great ideas will be welcome for this kind function. What expectation would you like or will be welcome in your daily design work?
