Dynamic dimension labels between vertical links in Assembly

Is there a way to create dynamic dimensions between vertical links in an assembly that would be visible in the Section Editor. What I want to be able to do is watch the distances change as I run the Section Editor through transitions. I've found a video on how to create static dimensions but not dynamic

I use a Code & Width @ % label. I also use a large text height expression for Text Height in composer expression for display. (2nd image)

@RobertEVs Thank you. Do you know how to create a link between the two vertical link that will change dynamically while the Assembly widens?

This is not an actual dimension style per your image. That being said I set codes per link. In this image I have my lane as a linkWidthandSlope SA. I added the P5 code to that. Next to it is my LW&S Shoulder SA. That keeps it's TOP code (1st image). In my code set style I use the same Length & Width @ slope label for each Link (2nd image). Result in section view (3rd image). Use you Top,Pave code for Lane AOR and Top,Curb for your C&G code if those are the SA you are using. You can get those through your SA help file (4th/last image).

Create a link code label that has link width or link slope length.

Yes. That would work well enough. What I've started in the meantime is have lines for the Face of Curb and the shoulder. I'm creating those a Miscellaneous Alignments and setting the Style to display in the Section Editor. So I can visually track the transitions. What I want to do is verify that the Transitions are doing what I expect them to do.

Did not read your request correctly first time. I added a vertical link in my assembly between Lane AOR and C&G. Created a label for that code called Vert. Used Link Elevation Change as a label. Thinking about this and no time to test but if your vertical height of C&G or Lane changes this link will probably not follow that height change. Is that what you are asking? Vertical height changes through section editor?

I'm looking for the horizontal distance between the vertical links. I wanted to watch the distance change as the travel lane and shoulder widen and contract.

Read the red lines and arrows in my original image as dimension lines.
