Duplicate Line Table Numbers

   Hi all,

I have a situation where I am creating line tables describing the face of 2 detailed buildings. My goal is to have one Line Table for Building "A" and another Lien Table for Building "B". I have created 2 separate table tag styles, one for each building. I have labeled the first building with no problems. I then edit the "Table Tag Numbering" to start back at #1 and have tried to label the second building. Problem is it does not start back at one. I picks back up at the next number, 29 in this case. It does affix the appropriate prefix but the numbering is wrong. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hey @nusouthsc!

There is a command called EDITTAGNUMBERS. By default, Civil 3D does not create labels with repeated numbers, unless you approve it manually. Even with different styles, it keeps the same numbering order.

So, you insert all tags. Then, use the command EDITTAGNUMBERS and INDIVIDUALLY renumber each of the labels, creating duplicates. Unfortunately, this is the way to Civil 3D understand which order of labels you are interested in.
