I'm currently designing a potable water pipeline network in Civil 3D, but I'm finding it extremely difficult. Why is it so hard to create a potable water network in Civil 3D? Could someone give me some tips if they've already designed potable water or pressurized pipelines (as they're known)? Thanks. https://9apps.ooo

To put this question in a nutshell answer you should search some of Jeff Bartels youtube videos on pressure networks for Civil3D.

It's not hard to create a pressure network but it would take a quite a bit of information to get started.

Have an alignment?

Have a surface to reference?

Have a pressure network parts list set up?

Networked to the parts catalog?

Path or layout based network?

Version of Civil3D you are using.

etc.
