drawing path displayed in a pop up will not go away

I have Civil 3D 2016. A drawing path is being displayed in both model space and paper space and it will not go away. I have tried regen and display options but nothing is working. I cannot click on the drawing link but it covers up my cursor when I hover over it. The same drawing path is shown in every session of CAD that I open regardless if said drawing is open or not. If i have other programs running on my computer and I pull them up, the drawing path hovers over the top of them as well. I have attached a screen shot of what it looks like. How do I fix this?

That might be from windows, minimize cad and go to your desktop and click in blank space and press F5 key to refresh.
