Drawing lines using latitude and longitude co-ords

Hi All,

I am trying to drawing a pline using a series of lat/long co-ords. I have changed the co-ord system to "Australian Geodetic datum 1984, Lat-Long, AGD84 Grid files" (not sure which one to use, I am in North QLD) and tried to use the "Create line by Latitude/Longitude", however when I type in the first couple of co-ords it drawings a line 0.000 long and 0.001 away from 0,0.

Any suggestion on  how to make it work or fix any of my glaring omissions would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Damon,

Not sure whether it's your choice of Coordinate System or what, but here's what I did. In Ambient Settings I selected "Decimal" for Lats and Longs. I assigned AMG-54-Grid as the Coordinate System. Using the PLine Command and the Transparent Command 'LL I drew a PLine here:

From:
Julia Creek, QLD
20.6562° S, 141.7442° E
To:
Kynuna, QLD
21.5783° S, 141.9222° EAMG54-1.png
