Dragged State Label in Section View

I understand the concept of dragged labels. Drag the label, and (under the default settings) a leader will appear. When a label is dragged from the inserted position, the program will highlight several key grips - see attachment. I remember seeing a toutorial on what the grips were named but I can't locate that right now.
Note that the pipe type label text has a diamond grip at the '0' datum, a square grip at the leader, and a circle grip, that will return the label to the original insertion location when clicked.
The grade label is grip editable, but moving the grip changes the value of the slope, rather than only changing the rotation of the text, and there is no leader arrow that appears with other dragged state labels. Has anyone else experienced this? It's not a big deal if it is one of those things, we normally wouldn't label it like this way - just want to see what went wrong.

All of the settings between the two labels are identical, with the exception of the C3d value inserted as the label.

I've already given up on trying to make the right axis labels right justified. They will not change from left justified. Same with the left axis, they remain right justified.....

Thank you in advance

Did you check the dragged state component and make sure they are both set to stacked text?

Also, what kind of labels are they? It's difficult to tell from the image.

Brian - yes, they are both set to stacked text. Both are identical in the settings except for the contents.

The grade label (section view depth grade label style) indicates the grade in percent (shown selected) and another grade label indicates the run:rise.

The pipe label (pipe crossing label style, section view) indicates the pipe material (shown selected) and another pipe label indictes the elevation of the top of pipe.

Attachment shows that you can move the label around, the leader just won't appear. Edited by: wlewis on Jun 4, 2009 12:42 PM - forgot attachment

Aha! You are using a section view grade label. I thought it was a link label for the section. Apparently, you can't take a section view grade label into a dragged state. I know, there's a dragged state tab in the style but you can't do it. You also can't take a surface slope label into a dragged state and it too has a dragged state tab in the style. Sounds like a wish list item to me.
