Display Latitude and Longitude in Properties Palette

How would I change or add latitude and longitude information of objects to the Properties Palette?

Which objects?  In your attachment it says "Point".  Like an old Autocad Point? (not a cogo point)

If I select a "Cogo Point" in my DWGs I can see Lat/Lon in the Properties box.

From C3d Help on the web:

"The points created by AutoCAD Civil 3D are called Coordinate Geometry (COGO) points, which are very different from AutoCAD point nodes. AutoCAD point nodes have only coordinate data (XYZ values) associated with them. However, COGO points, in addition to coordinate data, have a variety of properties associated with them, including point number, point name, raw (field) description, and full (expanded) description. Unlike AutoCAD point nodes, which exist in a single drawing, COGO points can be stored in a project outside a drawing and referenced by multiple users. In AutoCAD Civil 3D, the term point refers to a COGO point, not to an AutoCAD point node."

In order to see the latitude and longitude, it must be a cogo point in a drawing with a coordinate system defined.  Simple autocad points are simple x,y,z points, not "detailed" cogo points.

If obtaining the Lat/Long of any object is your goal, the Alternate Coordinate List tool in DotSoft's C3DTools will provide this dialog, simply select objects.

The results can then be exported to Excel, Word, or a Table in the drawing in a single click.

Thanks all for you reply. A little more details on the issue. So, initially the points were plain AutoCad, which display the X, Y, Z coordinates. Using COGO points in Civil 3D does display the LAT & LONG info and thanks for the suggestion. But the client is asking if adding LAT & LONG info is possible for plain AutoCad points, to be displayed from the properties palette?

Not in plain Autocad. It cannot show attributes from vertical products such as Map and Civil 3D unless those apps are installed. Not sure if object enablers would add that functionality to plain Autocad.
