Disabling [Double Middle-mouse Click = Zoom Extents]

Good afternoon.

I need to know how to change or disable the action of Double Middle-Mouse Click causing the effect of Zoom Extents.

This is a cause>effect that Autodesk have programmed into Civil 3D. However I have searched for solutions and cannot find one that AutoDesk have implemented. There is no apparent "double middle-mouse click" in the CUI, Options, or anywhere else that I can find.

This command impedes my workflow and I would be appreciative of a solution if it exists, or for AutoDesk to program a toggle/edit of this command.

Disabling panning entirely (MBUTTONPAN) is not a solution. Changing double-click speed in windows is not a solution. Third party software is not a solution. The solution that this problem requires is Civil 3D no longer outputting [zoom_e] when receiving the input [double middle mouse click]. No conjecture or irrelevant information, please.

Hi Josh,
I did not know about double-clicking the middle mouse button to zoom extents. Tried it just now for the first time. My learning experience for the day.
Sorry, I don't know how to change it.

I have dove into this trying to find a workaround and am coming up empty.

While I can't see a benefit to this change, Autodesk should implement it as a customizable feature regardless.

I personally use the double click to zoom extents multiple times per day. What about this feature is impeding your workflow? Do you have another feature that you use he double click for, or is it a hardware issue with the double click being accidentally activated?

MBUTTONPAN = 0 will accomplish this but, like @NateSarles asked, Why?

@tcorey, OP said that MBUTTONPAN was not an option, I can only postulate that he wants to be able to pan using the middle mouse button, but not have the ZE feature tied to a double middle-mouse-button click.🤷
