Different Pressure Pipe Style in Plan & Profile

C3D 2016 Win7

I want to show just the CL of the pressure pipe network pipes in plan using a special linetype  (------8IN D.I. PIPE-----)

I want the pipe to be drawn to scale in the profile, i.e., the outer walls shown, but no CL (it'd be nice to not have to show the inner walls)

How can I do this? The less styles I have to create, the better. I only want to create one 8-IN style if possible. But, I don't know if this is possible, since on the Display tab I can turn ON/OFF pipe CL & walls, but not for plan or profile, that I can see.

If I have to have two styles, one each for plan & profile, I would set the default style in the parts list to be the plan style so that the network can be laid out in plan. is there a place to set the default style used in the profile then?

Any thoughts on how to accomplish this with default settings so that I don't have my users have to go change styles after the fact by editing properties?

THANKS

Possible solution to different appearances in plan & profile, though I have not tested it yet:

In Pipe Style Editor:

Profile tab, set Pipe wall sizes to Use part dimensions. in Drawing Settings, Layers tab, set profile parts to go to unique layer with Continuous linetype.

Display tab, CL ON, walls OFF.

maybe?
