Differences on the same surface - C3d 2018 vs 2019 vs 2021

Hi. At the time, I realized that when we changed from c3d 2018 to c3d 2019, the surfaces were not always built the same even if it started from the same data. Specifically, my problem is that when adding hidden boundary limits, when I show the areas I want, in c3d2018 the surface is created well while in c3d 2019 there are usually holes or the triangulation is incomplete. This same behavior has occurred to me working with different computers and more recently, in c3d 2021 I see that the problem repeats itself. An example is attached. Surfaces were created using breaklines.

I do not find any references to this behavior anywhere.

There's really nothing there that I see to help solve your issue, can you post a file-workflow etc...., I'd be happy to test it, I've got all those versions available.

Hi. This is the example. Like this exercise, I get this problem in many variants, but i dont understand why civil 3d 2018 or even 2016 can solve the surface, but 2019 and 2021 don't. I think is all about the combination of boundaries and feature lines like breaklines.

Very well. I find a workaround after all. Originaly, my setup implicate make a first boundary hide and after this, make the iner boundarys show, with the breakline input before all this. This work for me, prior C3D 2019.

Now, for avoid the gaps that get, I need, after add the breaklines first, make a last breakline act like boundary but with the option for "non-destructive". After this, continue with the boundary hide and the boundary show, and the surface build is correct.

Funny that this new step was never necesary in old versions. Sorry my english.

I know there were some changes between 2019 and 2020. I had issues editing a Surface in 2019 that were fixed in 2020.
